Admission requirements for non-clinical/HIM courses are:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 18 years of age minimum
Additional admission requirements for clinical/Nursing courses are:
- Current physical examination with medical history
- TB screen – if known history of positive TB skin test, a negative chest x-ray is required
- Criminal background check
The listed additional requirements are contractual obligations of the medical facilities where students will perform clinical rotations during live practicum modules.
Transfer Credit
Westchester College of Nursing and Allied Health may accept credits earned at another institution accredited by an agency recognized by the Secretary of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) to satisfy specific requirements for completion of a program. The college accepts transfers of credits from other institutions at its sole discretion.
